He achieved his Master’s degree in Theology in 1970 at the Dayton’s University. In this article we shall discuss Rohr’s ‘message’ and we will consider whether it is justified that he is so popular with some Christians. Among those books there are popular books by the popular mystical American Franciscan preacher Richard Rohr. Additionally, there are books about New Age and several eastern religions and philosophies available. We can mention books on astrology, mindfulness, channeling, meditation, astral projection, reiki, about so-called healing stones that supposedly would contain healing energies, etc. Also in modern bookstores there’s plenty to buy about modern ‘spirituality’, which is not in line with what the Bible indicates. These days with the internet, Christians can come across all kinds of information that undermine our faith as the Bible indicates and intends to.
